How to request a challenge
Challenges are available in Open Ladder mode. The challenge flow helps both players move from rank-based requests into a confirmed match time.
Step 1
Open your ladder
Go to the ladder where you want to play and look for the Issue a challenge action.
Step 2
Choose an eligible opponent
The form only lists players you are currently allowed to challenge based on ladder rules and your current rank.
Step 3
Suggest match options
Add at least one suggested date and mark each option as morning or evening. You can send up to three options.
Step 4
Add an optional note
Use the notes field for anything helpful like preferred courts, contact context, or scheduling constraints.
Step 5
Send the challenge
Submit the form to notify the other player and start the scheduling flow.
Before you start
You must already be entered in the ladder.
You can only challenge players ranked above you, and only up to two spots higher.
You cannot send a second open challenge to a player if one is already active between the two of you.
What happens next
The opponent receives an email and sees the request in their challenge inbox.
Both players can then propose times, confirm a time, or decline the challenge if needed.
